He started his studies in “G.Verdi” bend of
San Cono (Catania) with the master, conductor and composer
Vincenzo Longobardi and he got a diploma in 1987 at the musical
highschool “V.Bellini” of Catania.
He perfected his instrumental studies at the Academy of music of
Milan, carrying on, in the following years, the high improving
with the master Emilio Soana (master of music and life).
In 1991 he attained the qualification to teach and the
registration in the register of professional musicians. In the
same year he obtained the magisterial certificate and he started
the first temporary teaching jobs as coral singing-master at the
middle schools of I and II grade.
In 1995 he started his career as soloist trumpet player in great
Italian and Swiss orchestras, knowing and mixing himself with
the great Italian trumpet players: E. Soana, A. Giuffredi, A.
Tofanelli, P. Russo, F. Bosso, M. Cavallaro, F. Manzoni, D.
Ghidoni.
In 1999 he attained the specialization that permitted him to
teach in schools of every order and every grade, and he carried
on projects of coral and instrumental practise in Milan.
From 2000 to 2003 he perfected his opera studies attending the
most important Master delivered by: G. Cassone, R. Martin, S.
Thompson.
Today he teaches musical education at the middle school
“Bonecchi” in Rho and he continues the studies of musical
composition.
He takes care of the artistic-musical direction of the band
“Santa Cecilia” of Passirana and he directs the formation school
for pupils, internal to the band, school strongly wanted by
himself.
From the first director of the band, who was the master
Tencaioli, different masters followed one another: master
Sobrero, after the great war, master Almazio, master Ghidoni
master Tornaghi, master Marino Scotti from 1970 to the end of
80’s, master Maurizio Brigadieci till 2004.
Today the organic reaches about forty alements, directed by
master Salvatore Catalano and coordinated by the president Mario
Seveso. |
